Cheen Huaye: Experience Authentic Mexican Cuisine in North Miami Beach

I usually only go for the Taco Tuesday menu, it’s so reasonably priced and all the ingredients are fresh & delicious! The margaritas are super yummy too and can’t be beat for $5. One of my favorite local spots in North Miami Beach. A little dark inside but it does fit the mood later into the evening. They also have a DJ, not sure if he’s there all the time?

The margaritas here are excellentstrong, perfectly mixed, and definitely generous on the alcohol. Marianna is incredible at the bar; her energy and skill make the whole experience even better. The tacos are also amazing: flavorful, fresh, and truly artisanal. Highly recommend this place!

Decent Mexican joint, not a ton of options but the vegetarian quesadilla was filled with fresh veggies grilled perfectly. The bar started playing an ice skating competition and blasting the sound .. no one was sitting at the bar so this seemed quite odd. They did turn the volume down when asked.

This is the BEST Mexican restaurant in all of the Miami area. It is the ONLY true authentic Mexican restaurant. The owner Marco brings his family recipes from Mexico and always makes me feel welcome and special! Brenda is a great server and always recognizes me when I go there and gives me nothing short of exceptional service! The food is so good I travel 45 minutes just to come here. We all should be supporting the local restaurants not giving our money to the billionaire corporations that do not appreciate us. Everyone who reads this… come here and try the food and drinks! I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

I really enjoy coming to this Mexican restaurant each time! The food is so delicious, they do not disappoint! The drinks are a hit. I have been here three times this year alone so that tells you it’s pretty good, especially around the area. I would recommend for people to try. I get something new each time so I wouldn’t say to just try one item, as the mole chicken the corn the flautas has all been a hit for me.

We just love this local place, and we don't even care much for the Mexican food. This place has very unique dishes, their seasoning is spot on, their carne asada best I've ever had. We are coming here for tge past 18 years and never had been disappointed. Their fire roasted tomato salsa is amazing too. Always friendly stuff, Owner is still cooking in the kitchen several times a week and his wife still helping to serve. Very home and cozy.

Amazing & delish food every time. The flavors of each dish never disappoint. Highly recommend if you are looking for authentic Mexican cuisine. Gluten-free meals available. We have had the Fajitas de Camaron (with corn tortillas) Tacos de Pescado, also with corn tortillas), and the Arrachera a la Campecina. On another visit, we have also had their shrimp ceviche.

Have been coming here for years.. always good experience! Margaritas are delicious and not watery. Fish tacos are my favorite along with quesadillas and carnitas prensadas. Never had a bad meal here. And the staff is always nice and accommodating
